Metal Horse Wall Hanging

I was commissioned to paint this metal wall hanging with more realistic details. I had to sand the blue coating off and then spray it with a weather proof sealant/primer. After that it was ready for acrylic paint. Once I finished the design work, I sealed it again to protect the paint.

This piece was an enjoyable challenge, as I had never worked on metal before. It was my first time putting this much detail into foreground items. I'm happy I took on the challenge because I learned a lot and both the client and I were both very pleased with the end results.
